Medal for the Defense of Leningrad variation 1
Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.06 mm in width, 37.56 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 16.4 gram without its suspension.
In excellent condition with crisp details and a fair amount of the gold plating still present. There are several dings and scratches on both sides but nothing distracting from the overall appeal of the medal. The double layer suspension time period to the medal and its connection ring has been cut.
Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Leningrad between September 1941 and January 1944.Â
