Soviet medal for the Capture of Königsberg variation 3
Variation 3 with a flat round eyelet struck as part of the medal
Made out of gilded brass. Measures 32.19 mm in width, 37.24 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 15.9 gram without its suspension.
This medal is in excellent condition with crisp details and much plating still present, most noticeably on its reverse. The brass suspension is time period to the medal.
Nice example of a less seen variation
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the capture of Königsberg between 23 January and 10 April 1945.
