Soviet medal for the Capture of Königsberg with its document
Variation 2 with a U-shaped eyelet struck as part of the medal
Awarded to Vladimir Antonovich Taranda (Владимир Антонович Таранда)
Made out of gilded brass. Measures 32.11 mm in width, 36.99 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 16.6 gram without its suspension.
In excellent condition with its details crisp. There are few small scratches and dings only and most gold plating is still present. The medal comes with an old suspension and new ribbon.
The medal comes with its document dated 31 May 1949 and is numbered В 532409.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the capture of Königsberg between 23 January and 10 April 1945.
