Variation 1 with a separately soldered eyelet to the medal

Made out of gilded brass. Measurements; 32.18 mm in width, 37.81 mm in height and 16.9 gram in weight without its suspension.

This Medal for the Capture of Königsberg medal is in excellent condition with most details visible. The medal comes with its time period brass suspension and much gold plating is still present.

Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the capture of Königsberg between 23 January and 10 April 1945.
