Soviet medal for the Capture of Budapest
WW2 variation 1a without a raised rim on its reverseÂ
This medal for the Capture of Budapest is made out of gold plated brass. Its measurements; 32.09 mm in diameter; 15.6 gram in weight (not including its suspension).
The medal is in great condition with crisp details and much gold plating present. The brass suspension is also in nice condition and time period to the medal.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the battle of Budapest between 20 December 1944 and 15 February 1945.
