Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.21 mm in width, 37.98 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 17.2 gram without its suspension.
This medal is in a good, about average condition most details visible. There are several small dings and scratches but none distracting from the overall appeal of the medal. The double layer steel suspension is time period to the medal as is its ribbon.
The Medal “For the Capture of Berlin” was awarded to soldiers of the Red Army, Navy, and troops of the NKVD, direct participants of the assault and capture of the city as well as to the organizers and leaders of combat operations in the capture of this city.
