Medal for Strengthening of Brotherhood in Arms

Made of gilded brass. The medal for Medal for Strengthening of Brotherhood in Arms measures 32.04 mm in diameter and 2.57 mm in thickness at the very edge of the medal. The height of the medal is 36.94 mm (including the eyelet) and it weighs 17.6 gram.
The medal is in excellent condition with all details crisp and full gold plating. The enamels and lacquer are also pristine and show now repairs. It comes with its time period aluminium suspension and original, time period ribbon.
The booklet belonging to the medal was awarded May 31st 1980 and is in excellent condition.
Awarded to a well known German general. Rare as such!

The medal was awarded to military personnel, to employees of state security, of internal affairs, and to other citizens of the states participants of the Warsaw Pact, as well as other socialist and other friendly nations.
