Soviet Medal for Labor Valor #73141
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measurements; 34.33 mm in diameter and 40.02 mm in height (including the eyelet). Weight; 21.4 gram without its suspension. The reverse shows the stamped letter ‘N’ followed by the engraved serial number ‘73141’. The minimum known serial number for this variation is 61280 and the maximum is 73886.
This early medal for Labor Valor is in worn condition. There are several dings and scratches on both sides and the enamel has a small repair on top of the red star. The eyelet has been soldered to the medal in a rather sloppy way. The medal comes with its double layer brass suspension.
Not in the best possible condition but scarce to find with only 12500 awarded.
Awarded to laborers who dedicated themselves towards the building of a socialist society.
