This Soviet medal for Impeccable Service in the MOOP (Ministry of Protecting the Public Order) of the Republic of Azerbaijan is made of silver and gold plated brass. It measures 32.06 mm in diameter, 37.10 mm in height and weighs 16.0 grams without its suspension.
In excellent condition with all details crisp and few traces of wear. Much of the original plating is still present and its suspension and ribbon are time period to the medal.
One of the scarce impeccable service medals
‘MOOP’ was a temporary substitute for the MVD during the 60s.
