This medal for Impeccable Service in the MOOP RSFSR (Ministry of Protecting the Public Order in the Russian Republic) is made of silver plated brass and enamels. Measures 32.01 mm in diameter, 37.03 mm in height and weighs 16.5 grams without its suspension.
The medal is in great condition with all details crisp. The red enamel is problem free and shows no dings or scratches. Its suspension and ribbon are time period and its collection ring has not been cut.
‘MOOP’ was a temporary substitute for the MVD during the 60s.
