Soviet Medal for Distinguished Military Service 2nd class
Made of German silver and lacquer. The medal measures 36.96 mm in width and 40.90 mm in height, including the eyelet but not the suspension. It weighs 14.7 gram.
The medal is in near mint condition with crisp details and full silver plating. It shows almost no wear and the transparent lacquer surrounding the soldier is all present. The medal comes with its original suspension and screwplate.
Awarded to soldiers of the Soviet Army, Navy, border and internal troops: for excellent performance in combat and political training; for special distinction in exercises and manoeuvres in combat service and combat duty; for bravery, selflessness, and other services, shown during military service.
