Soviet Medal for Combat Merit with document
Awarded to Colonel Pyotr Alexandrovich Rodionov (Петр Александрович Родионов)
For active participation in the October Revolution by Decree of 28.10.1967
Rodionov served in the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs-MGB
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 32.22 mm in diameter, 37.14 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 19.4 gram without its suspension.
In great condition with perfect details; even the higher laying parts on its obverse show almost no wear. Both sides of the medal have several small dings and scratches and the enamel is all present and pristine. Its connection ring has been cut and the medal comes with its time period suspension and ribbon.
The booklet is in excellent condition too with all pages firmly attached. The document is is numbered Ж 687364
Also present is its original presentation box which has the text ‘За боевые заслуги’ (for combat merit) stamped in top.
