Awarded to Private Mikhail Mikhailovich Andreev (Михаил Михайлович Андреев)
For carrying ammunition on his horse carriage to the artillery battery positions which helped maintaining the high rate of fire
Made of solid silver and lacquer. The medal itself measures 32.29 mm in diameter and 37.31 mm in height including the eyelet. It weighs 17.6 gram without its suspension and 26.7 gram with the suspension but without the nut. The eyelet is 5.91 mm in width and the suspension measures 25.31 mm in width at its narrowest point and 31.35 at its widest point.
The medal is in an excellent, above average condition with several small dings and scratches but nothing distracting from the overall appeal of the medal. The higher laying parts like the sword and sabre show medium wear with many details perfectly visible. The red lacquer filling the lettering is still present but covered in a layer of dirt. Its silver suspension is original as is the brass screw, the hexogen nut, the plate holding the ribbon and its ‘Monjetnij Dvor’ screwplate. Its connection ring has not been cut and even its ribbon is original to the medal and has an old plastic protection cover.

Horse carriage driver of the transport platoon private first class ANDREEV Mikhail Mikhailovich is bestowed for his honest and responsible attitude, which resulted in the transportation means and the hoses being in excellent condition. In difficult situations, when there is lack of transport means, comrade ANDREEV carries ammunition on his horse carriage to the artillery battery positions, which assists in maintaining high rate of fire.
