Made of solid silver. Measures 32.13 mm in diameter and 2.27 mm in thickness. The height of the medal is 37.77 mm including the eyelet and it weighs 18.9 gram.
This medal for Combat Merit medal is in decent condition with most details present and crisp. Even the higher laying parts on its obverse have little wear. There are several small dings and scratches and the lacquer filling the letter ‘CCCP’ is gone. Its connection ring has not been cut.
This military medal awarded for “combat action resulting in a military success”; “courageous defence of the state borders”; or “successful military and political training and preparation”. Also awarded for 10 years of service prior to the creation of the long service awards.
