Made of solid silver. The medal for Combat Merit measures 32.46 mm in diameter and 2.16 mm in thickness at the very edge of the medal. The height of the medal is 37.48 mm (including the eyelet) and it weighs 17.1 gram.
This original WW2 medal for Combat Merit medal is in great condition with the details crisp. Even the higher laying parts on its obverse show no wear. The obverse of the medal shows almost no dings or scratches and the lacquer is mostly present. It comes with its time period double layer steel suspension.
Most likely awarded the second half of 1944.
