Made of solid silver. The medal for Combat Merit measures 32.11 mm in diameter and 2.18 mm in thickness. The height of the medal is 36.90 mm (including the eyelet) and it weighs 17.4 gram without its suspension.
In above average condition with medium overall wear. Much of the original red lacquer is still present and the details of the raised areas are mostly visible although some have worn off. The medal comes with its time period double layer steel suspension and its connection ring has not been cut.
Most likely awarded during the first half of 1944.
