Made of solid silver. The medal for Combat Merit measures 32.46 mm in diameter and 2.14 mm in thickness at the very edge of the medal. The height of the medal is 37.30 mm (including the eyelet) and it weighs 16.9 gram.
This original WW2 medal for Combat Merit medal is in nice condition with medium wear on the higher laying parts. The red lacquer is mostly present but covered with a layer of dirt. It comes with its time period double layer steel suspension and original ribbon. The connection ring between the medal and suspension has been cut.
Most likely awarded during the first half of 1944.
