Soviet Medal for Combat Merit
Variation with a flat eyelet
Made of solid silver. The medal for Combat Merit measures 32.07 mm in diameter and 2.25 mm in thickness. The height of the medal is 37.26 mm (including the eyelet) and it weighs 18.9 gram.
This medal for Military Merit medal is excellent condition with its details crisp. Even the higher laying parts on its obverse has little wear. The obverse of the medal shows only a few dings and scratches and the enamel is all present. Its connection ring has not been cut.
This military medal awarded for “combat action resulting in a military success”; “courageous defense of the state borders”; or “successful military and political training and preparation”. Also awarded for 10 years of service prior to the creation of the long service awards.
