Soviet Medal for Bravery #944221
Made of solid silver. The medal for Bravery measures 37.41 mm in diameter and 42.79 mm in height (including the eyelet). It weighs 28.3 gram without its suspension.
The medal is in nice condition with much details present and an appealing medium dark patina on both sides. Some of the higher laying parts on the tank show medium wear. Much of the red lacquer is still present even though some is covered with some dirt. Its connection ring has not been cut and the double layer steel suspension is time period to the medal as is the old ribbon.
Probably awarded during the summer of 1944 so with excellent research potential! Â Â
