Medal for Bravery #804894
Made of solid silver. The medal for Bravery measures 37.12 mm in diameter and 42.32 mm in height (including the eyelet). It weighs 26.2 grams without its suspension.
The medal is in a nice, about average condition with a light patina on its obverse and strong, dark layer of patina on its reverse. The higher laying parts like the rivets on the side of the tank and the canons still show their details. Part of the original red lacquer is still present but covered by a new layer later on. The picture in the gallery of the Cyrillic Z (З) in ZA (ЗА) gives a clear view of this. The double layer steel suspension and ribbon are time period to the medal and its connection ring has been cut.
Probably awarded end 1943 or begin 1944 so with excellent research potential
