Soviet Medal for Bravery #571307
Made of solid silver. The medal for Bravery measures 37.24 mm in diameter and 42.22 mm in height (including the eyelet). It weighs 26.6 gram without its suspension.
The medal is in a nice, worn condition with most details visible. There are many dings and scratches on both sides covered by a dark patina and the higher laying parts show medium wear. About half of the original red lacquer is still present and its connection ring has been cut. The double layer steel suspension is time period to the medal.
Not in the best condition but with great ‘combat appearance’. Probably awarded during the fall of 1943 so with excellent research potential! Â Â
