Made of solid silver and red lacquer. The medal for Bravery measures 37.26 mm in diameter and 42.49 mm in height (including the eyelet) and it weighs 28.2 grams without its suspension.
The medal is in excellent, well above average condition with its details crisp and a medium dark patina to the silver on both sides. Most of the original red lacquer is still present and its connection ring has not been cut. The brass suspension and ribbon are time period to the medal.
Its accompanying medal booklet is nice condition as well with all pages present and firmly attached to the cover. This Medal for Bravery is the only award mentioned so technically this set can be considered a complete grouping

Born 1926, Ukrainian, not a party member, inducted into the Red Army on 1.10.1943 by Borzenkovsky Regional Military Commissariat, Chernigov Oblast.
