Soviet Medal for Bravery #3229219
Made of solid silver and lacquer. The medal for Bravery measures 37.51 mm in diameter and 2.64 mm in thickness. The height of the medal is 42.28 mm (including the eyelet) and it weighs 27.2 grams without its suspension.
The medal is in excellent condition with all details present and light overall wear. Virtually all of the red lacquer is still present without repairs. The double layer suspension is time period to the medal and its connection ring has been cut.
Probably a ‘catch-up’ medal awarded in the 1950’s for actions during the war
