Medal for Bravery #2383273

Awarded to Guards Sergeant Dmitrij Ivanovich Chuenko (Дмитрий Иванович Чуенко)

For combat engagement on 03 March 1945 in which he repaired damaged cannons acting under enemy fire. As the result of his effort, an enemy counter-attack was repelled causing numerous casualties to the enemy

Made of solid silver. The medal for Bravery measures 37.29 mm in diameter and 42.57 mm in height (including the eyelet) and it weighs 27.8 grams without its suspension.

The medal is in a decent, about average condition for this serial number range. Most details are still visible and a medium patina is present on both sides. Some of the original red lacquer is still present and its connection ring is a replacement. The steel suspension and old ribbon are time period to the medal. The ends of the ribbon are sewed which make it impossible to use the stickpin. On request we can add another time period suspension on the medal.
