Made of solid silver. Measures 37.42 mm in diameter and 42.11 mm in height (including its eyelet) and it weighs 28.7 grams.
The medal is in excellent, above average condition with its details still visible and a medium patina on both sides. Most of the original red lacquer is still present and its connection ring has not been cut. The medal is attached to a brass suspension together with the Medal for the Victory over Germany

Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.09 mm in diameter and 36.32 mm in height (including its eyelet) and it weighs 16.9 grams.
In nice condition with a fair amount of gold plating still present. The higher laying parts like Stalin’s face show medium wear.
Brief and specific description of the personal feat or merits:
In 1944 as part of the 108 rifle division, he participated in the capture of the town Novyi Bykhov during the forced crossing of the river Dneiper. He was wounded in an engagement during the expansion of the bridgehead.
