Kaganovich Subway Badge #8542 (1935)
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 36.53 mm in height, 33.24 mm in width and weighs 16.0 grams without its screwplate. The stamped serial number #8542 and raised Mintmark (MD) are located on its reverse.
In superb condition with light overall wear. Even the details of the higher laying parts of the metro are still well defined. The beautiful red enamels are all present without chipping or flaking. There have been no repairs and the well fitted silver screwplate is authentic to the badge. Its screw has not been shortened.
A beautifully made and desirable badge in silver. Scarce!
