Kaganovich Subway Badge #3747 (1938)
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 36.62 mm in height, 33.28 mm in width and weighs 15.6 grams without its screwplate. The stamped serial number #3747 and raised Mintmark (MD) are located on its reverse.
In excellent condition with light to light overall wear. Even the details of the higher laying parts of the metro are still well defined. The beautiful red enamels are all present and show some small contact marks and a minor superficial chip on the 10 o’clock position only, barely noticeable with the naked eye. There have been no repairs and the well fitted silver screwplate is authentic to the badge. Its screw has not been shortened.
