Soviet Honored Railway Employee badge #62639
Made of silver plated brass and enamels. Riveted two-piece construction. Measures 44.62 mm in height, 31.33 mm in width at its widest point and weighs 18.7 gram without its screwplate.
In excellent, well above average condition with all details crisp and almost all silver plating present. Even the higher laying parts like the locomotive show light wear only. The enamel are all present and without repairs and show some minuscule dings and flaking only. The badge comes with its original screwplate and its screw has not been shortened.
This badge was the highest award to railroad employees, equivalent of “Honored” titles in other fields.
