Made of brass and enamels. Riveted two-piece construction. Measures 45.84 mm in height, 32.96 mm in width at its widest point and weighs 18.1 grams without its screwplate.
In excellent condition with all details crisp and light wear on the higher laying parts like the locomotive only. The white and the colored enamels on the traffic light are pristine without repairs and minor dings and scratches. The red enamels are problem free apart from a tiny superficial chip on the bottom far right of the top red banner; barely noticeable. The badge comes with its original and well fitted screwplate and its screw has not been shortened.
This badge was the highest award to railroad employees, equivalent of ‘Honored titles in other fields
