Soviet Honored Railway Employee badge #40184
Made of silver plated brass and enamels. Riveted two-piece construction. Measures 45.67 mm in height, 33.29 mm in width at its widest point and weighs 19.3 gram without its screwplate.
In excellent condition with all details crisp and most silver plating present. Even the higher laying parts like the locomotive show light wear only. The red enamels show some contact marks but is without chipping or repairs. The white enamels and the coloured enamels on the traffic light are flawless. It comes with its original screwplates and its screw has not been shortened.
This badge was the highest award to railroad employees, equivalent of “Honored” titles in other fields
