GTO Badge (Ready for Labor and Defense) #A-69689 (1940-1941)
Made of solid silver and enamels. It measures 30.15 mm in height, 24.11 mm in width and it weighs 7.7 grams without its screwplate. Its serial number and mint mark ‘MD’ can be found on its reverse.
In excellent condition with medium wear on the raised parts like the runner. The red and white enamels are beautiful and well preserved with some dings and scratches only and without repairs. The scarce ‘Mondvor’ screwplate is original to the badge and both sides show a dark patina to the silver.
