Documented Group of an Order of the Red Banner and a Red Star
Awarded to Major Vasily Danilovich Penkov (Василий Данилович Пеньков)

Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 44.37 mm in height, 36.04 mm in width and weighs 23.9 grams without its suspension. The serial number and the mint mark Monetni Dvor are located at the 6 o’clock position of its reverse.
In excellent condition with full gold plating and a light patina on both sides. The order shows few traces of wear and its details are all perfectly crisp. Both the red and white enamels are extremely well preserved without repairs or chipping The order comes with its time period suspension and old ribbon.
Order of the Red Star #2694462
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 46.42 mm in height, 48.62 mm in width and weighs 32.4 grams without its screwplate. Its serial number is located underneath the screwpost and the mint mark Monetni Dvor above.
In excellent condition with light wear on the raised parts like the soldier only. The enamels are in great condition with minor contact marks only and without repairs or chipping. The order comes with its time period screwplate which fits well.

In excellent condition with all pages firmly attached to it cover. It mentions these two orders only.
Major Penkov was also awarded a Medal for Combat Merit, which is not documented in the order booklet since it was awarded prior to the two orders above and was subsequently presented alongside a medal booklet. More information on Penkov can be found here
