Chernobyl Badge
This Chernobyl Badge is made out of gold plated brass. The badge consists out of two parts; the rectangular medal and the suspension. The main square part measures 36.24 mm in width and 40.51 mm in height, including the eyelet. The weight is 21.0 grams without its suspension.
The badge is in great condition and comes with its time period suspension. The paint on the obverse is problem free and well preserved. All details are crisp and the badge shows few dings and scratches on either side.
Issued to all participants of the massive nuclear clean-up effort.
