Badge for Excellence in the Navy #4702 (1939)
Made of solid silver and enamels. The badge measures 27.77 mm in height, 23.62 mm in width and weighs 7.2 grams without its screwplate. Its serial number #4702 and mintmark ‘MD’ can be found on the bottom of its reverse.
The badge is in a nice, above average condition with crisp details. The red and blue enamels are extremely well preserved without flaking and dings. The white enamel has a small repair on top of the badge.
