Soviet RKKA Excellent Shooting Badge, 1938-1941
This RKKA Excellent Shooting Badge is made of silver plated brass and enamels. Measures 45.14 mm in height and 36.27 mm in width. It weighs 11.81 gram. The mint mark Mon Dvor (Monetni Dvor) is located at the center of the reverse.
The badge is in excellent, well above condition. The enamel is also problem free and extremely well preserved and all of the silver plating is present. The badge includes its original functional pin on the reverse of the medallion but unfortunately its chain is missing. The production of the badge stopped immediately after the German invasion of the Soviet Union and therefore few original examples survived.
Scarce as such, especially in this condition.
