Rifle Shooting Classifying Badge in the Border Guard troops and Bodies of the OGPU, 3rd class
1925-1932
This badge is made of silver plated brass and steel and enamels. It measures 50.86 mm in height, 29.59 mm in width and weighs 8.7 grams without its screwplate.
The badge is in superb condition with its details crisp and much silver plating still present. Even the higher laying parts like the rifle show light wear only. The red, white and blue enamels are problem free without chipping or repairs. Its screw has not been shortened and the badge comes with its original and well fitted “ХУД-МЕТ / МОСКВА” screwplate.
Beautiful and very rare piece. Hard to upgrade!
