Medal for Distinction in the Protection of Public Order

 

This variation of the medal was issued for only a brief period until the introduction of the Russian Federation awards in 1995

 

 

Made of silver plated German silver. Measures 32.12 mm in diameter, 37.03 mm in height (including the eyelet) and it weighs 16.9 grams without its suspension.

 

In near mint condition with sharp details and complete silver plating. A light, attractive patina has developed on both sides, giving the medal great character. Comes with the correct aluminium suspension.
