Awarded to Captain Ignat Vasilyevich Sulimov (Игнат Васильевич Сулимов)

The group consists of the following items:
Order of Lenin #276785
Made of solid gold, platinum and enamels. Measures 44.57 mm in height and 38.34 mm in width. It weighs 33.71 gram. The Leningrad mint mark Monetni Dvor and the serial number are located at the reverse.
This original order is in pristine condition with perfect enamels. Even the higher laying parts of Lenin’s face show almost no wear. There have been no repairs and the double layer suspension is time period to the order.
Order of the Red Banner #347930
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 45.26 mm in height and 37.51 mm in width. It weighs 24.89 gram. The mint mark Monetni Dvor and the serial number are located on the 6 o’clock position of its reverse.
This Red Banner order is also in pristine condition with perfect enamels. The higher laying parts such as the center wreath and the torch have crisp details. There have been no repairs and the double layer suspension is time period to the order.
Order of the Red Star #2027242
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 45.52 mm in height and 48.02 mm in width. It weighs 29.15 gram. The mint mark Monetni Dvor and the serial number is located on the reverse.
This Red Star order is in excellent condition with perfect enamels. There have been no repairs and the screwplate is time period.
Order of the Red Star #2029462
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 45.59 mm in height and 48.65 mm in width. It weighs 29.93 gram. The mint mark Monetni Dvor and the serial number is located on the reverse.
This Red Star order is in excellent condition with perfect enamels and great details. The orders shows a tiny scratch on the silver next to the soldier and one on its reverse. There have been no repairs and the screwplate is time period.

“Over the course of his 8 years of impeccable service with the Pacific Fleet, comrade Sulimov showed himself a disciplined, demanding, and competent political worker full of initiative. Through personal example, his discipline, and his day-to-day work with the troops and officers, comrade Sulimov gained authority and the respect of his men. A well-trained senior party work instructor with the Political Section, he taught dozens of remarkable Party and Komsomol organizers, ensuring on a daily basis that the Party and Komsomol activities are of high quality.
During the Patriotic War and the war with Japanese imperialism, comrade Sulimov made every effort and used all his knowledge for the cause of mobilizing the masses for the struggle with the enemies of our motherland and the strengthening of the borders in the Far East, assisting unit command in ensuring the units’ high level and constant state of combat readiness.
For the exemplary execution of tasks assigned by unit command pertaining to mobilizing the masses for the struggle with the German and Japanese invaders and for his personal example of selfless duty during wartime, comrade Sulimov deserves to be awarded the Order of the Red Star.”
