Mongolian Order of Combat Valor #1439
Made of solid silver and enamels. It measures 47.84 mm in height, 49.86 mm in width and weighs 48.6 grams without its screwplate. Its serial number is located right underneath the screwpost.
In nice, above average condition. The details are crisp and the raised parts like the horseman show little wear. The enamel are generally well preserved and free from repairs but show a superficial flake on the top right and the bottom right side of the white enamels. This is barely visible with the naked eye and does not penetrate the silver. Its reverse is in near mint condition with a beautiful toning to the silver. The order comes with its well fitted screwplate and its screw has not been shortened.
These orders were produced by the Soviet Mint on commission from the Mongolian government. The use of precious metal and high quality enamels are a dead giveaway.
