Soviet to a Member of the Red Guard and to a Red Partisan from the Leningrad Council badge 1917-1932
This early Soviet badge is made of silver and enamels. It measures 46.67 mm in height, 42.11 mm in width and it weighs 18.9 gram without its screwplate.
The badge is in nice condition with medium wear on its higher laying parts but most details still visible. The red enamel is beautiful an well preserved and shows several dings and scratches only; no chipping or flaking. The white enamel is in even better condition without any scratches contact marks. At some point in time the screw must have broke off and a new one was soldered at the centre of its reverse. Its screwplate is a replacement too but appears to be old and maybe even time period.
A beautiful and rare piece in far above average condition!
