Medal for Sino-Soviet Friendship
Made of gold plated brass and enamels. It measures 46.00 in height, 39.24 mm in width and it weighs 18.4 grams without suspension. On the obverse the national flags of the USSR and China are portrayed and the motto “Long Live Sino Soviet Friendship”.
The medal is in decent condition with medium wear but perfectly visible details. A fair amount of gold plating is still present and there have been no repairs. The red enamels show two chips but are well preserved otherwise.
Established in 1951; the Sino Soviet Friendship Medal was issued to Soviet military and civilian personnel; helping the Chinese during and after the Korean War.
