Medal for the Victory over Japan
Variation 2a with an U-shaped eyelet as part of the medal and a curved diagonal line in the ‘4’ on its reverse
Made out of brass. Measures 32.19 mm in width, 37.33 mm in height (including its eyelet) and weighs 17.1 grams without its suspension.
Is in excellent condition with light to medium overall wear and its details perfectly crisp. Most of the original luster is still present and the medal comes with its time period brass suspension and old ribbon.
Hard to upgrade!Â
Awarded to Soviet service personnel of the 1st and 2nd Far East Trans-Baikal Fronts, Pacific Fleet and Amur River Flotilla who were active between 8 August and 23 August 1945.
