Soviet Medal for the Victory over Japan
Variation 1a with a separately soldered eyelet and a curved diagonal line in the ‘4’ on its reverse
Made out of gold plated brass. Measures 32.38 mm in width, 38.22 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 17.6 gram without its suspension.
In excellent, well above average condition with its details perfectly visible and relatively few dings and scratches. Almost all gold plating is still present and the medal comes with its time period brass suspension.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel of the 1st and 2nd Far East Trans-Baikal Fronts, Pacific Fleet and Amur River Flotilla who were active between 8 August and 23 August 1945.
