Soviet Medal for the Victory over Japan
Variation 2b with an U-shaped eyelet as part of the medal and a straight diagonal line in the ‘4’ on its reverse
Made out of gold plated brass. Measures 32.34 mm in width, 37.29 mm in height (including its eyelet) and weighs 17.6 grams without its suspension.
The medal for the Victory over Japan is in great condition with its details perfectly visible and much gold plating present. The medal comes with its time period steel suspension and old ribbon.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel of the 1st and 2nd Far East Trans-Baikal Fronts, Pacific Fleet and Amur River Flotilla who were active between 8 August and 23 August 1945.
