Medal for the Liberation of Warsaw
Variation 1 with a separately soldered eyelet
Made of brass. It measures 32.21 in diameter, 37.44 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 17.0 gram without its suspension.
The medal is in great condition with crisp details and most of its original luster still present. There are few tiny dings and scratches only and the medal shows light overall wear. Its brass suspension is time period to the medal.
To Soviet service personnel; ‘who took part in the liberation of Warsaw between the 14 and 17 January 1945’.
