Medal for the Liberation of Warsaw
Variation 1 with a separately soldered eyelet
Made of gold plated brass. It measures 32.13 in diameter, 37.22 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 17.1 gram without its suspension.
The medal is in great condition with crisp details and almost all gold plating present. There are few tiny dings and scratches only and light overall wear. Its double layer suspension is time period to the medal.
To Soviet service personnel; ‘who took part in the liberation of Warsaw between the 14 and 17 January 1945’.
