Medal for the Liberation of Warsaw
Variation 2 with its eyelet struck as part of the medal
Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.21 in diameter, 36.83 mm in height and weighs 16.8 grams without its suspension.
The medal is in great condition with crisp details and most of the original gold plating still present. The medal shows light overall wear only and few tiny dings and scratches. It comes with a late Soviet aluminium suspension.
To Soviet service personnel; ‘who took part in the liberation of Warsaw between the 14 and 17 January 1945’.
