Medal for the Liberation of Warsaw
Variation 1 with a separately soldered eyelet
Made of gold plated brass. It measures 32.22 in diameter, 37.01 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 17.1 grams without its suspension.
The medal is in great condition with crisp details and much gold plating present. There are relatively few tiny dings and scratches only and light overall wear. The medal comes with a brass single layer suspension.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel; ‘who took part in the liberation of Warsaw between the 14 and 17 January 1945’.
