Medal for the Liberation of Prague

 

Variation 2 with an eyelet struck as part of the medal

 

Comes with its document dated 10 June 1947 awarded to Guards Sergeant Pavel Yakovlevich Charychansky (Павел Яковлевич Чарычанский)

 

 

Made of brass. Measures 32.02 mm in width, 37.09 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 17.2 grams without its suspension.

 

In excellent condition with most of the original luster still present. There are few dings and scratches on either side and its details are perfectly crisp. The brass suspension is time period to the medal and both sides show an appealing patina.

 

The laminated document is numbered A 270860 and is great condition.
