Medal for the Liberation of Prague
Variation 1b with a separately soldered eyelet and more detailed rays and wreath on its obverse
Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.31 mm in width, 37.62 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 17.5 grams without its suspension.
In nice condition with most details visible and medium overall wear. There are several small dings and scratches on both sides but none of them distract from the overall appeal of the medal. A fair amount of the original gold plating is still present and the medal comes with a single layer brass suspension.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the liberation of Prague between the 3 and 9 May 1945.Â
